Rev. Samuel Acquah, warmly known within the community as Papa Smiley, serves as the Co-Leader of Etherean Mission UK. His journey into spiritual leadership is deeply rooted in a calling to uplift, awaken, and connect people to their higher selves.
His path with Etherean Mission began in a profound and almost providential way. While hosting the inspirational radio segment Hour of Awakening on Akwantufuo Radio, he invited Bro. Dr. Ishmael Tetteh as a guest speaker. That encounter sparked not only a friendship but also the beginning of a lifelong spiritual journey—one that would eventually shape his mission and ministry.
On 12th June 2016, Rev. Acquah formally joined Etherean Mission, bringing with him both his devotion to service and a wealth of experience in media and production. He immediately dedicated his skills to the Audio-Visual Team, ensuring that the message of transformation reached people with clarity, power, and beauty. His passion for excellence and his ever-present smile soon made him a beloved figure in the community.
As the years unfolded, his natural leadership and deep commitment to the work of the Mission saw him entrusted with greater responsibilities. He became an integral member of the Planning Committee, and later served as its Chairman, where he guided the organisation of events, coordinated logistics, and nurtured initiatives that strengthened the Etherean community in the UK. His acceptance into the Mission’s Inner Circle in 2018 marked a recognition of his unwavering dedication and spiritual maturity.
In June 2025, Rev. Acquah was formally affirmed as Co-Leader of Etherean Mission UK, a role that represents both a culmination of years of service and the beginning of a new chapter. Today, he co-anchors the vision of Bro. Ishmael Tetteh in the United Kingdom, shepherding seekers on their spiritual paths, building community, and expanding the reach of the Etherean Mission’s timeless teachings.
Known for his warmth, humility, and radiant joy, Papa Smiley embodies the very essence of the Mission’s transformational message—reminding all who encounter him that spiritual growth is not only a journey of discipline, but also one of joy, laughter, and love.
